It all started with a love for creating experiences. Our founder was always drawn to how sound, visuals, and atmosphere could completely transform an event — starting from scratch as a part-time crew member, pushing boxes, setting up, and instantly getting hooked. That realisation — that this industry was the perfect mix of creativity and tech — never left.
Over 15 years, D8 has grown into one of Southeast Asia's most respected comprehensive live event technology solution providers, with a presence in Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam. We operate at the intersection of technical mastery and a relentless pursuit of immersive experience — from managing large-format music festivals like EDC and Neon Countdown, to delivering sophisticated AV integration for premium nightlife venues across the region.

HYRISS
Became Southeast Asia's only certified HYRISS integrator. Invested RM 1.54M in the region's first HYRISS showroom at MOTIV8 Experience Center, Bangsar.
EDC Thailand
Delivered full AV integration across three stages at EDC Thailand 2025 — Electric Daisy Carnival's inaugural Southeast Asian edition in Phuket.
Record
L-Acoustics system deployment at Jana Nayagan concert, Bukit Jalil — 85,000 fans, Malaysian Book of Records. First Tamil film audio launch outside India at this scale.

Henry started from scratch as a part-time crew member, pushing boxes and setting up — and instantly got hooked. Over 15+ years he built D8 into one of Southeast Asia's most respected comprehensive live event technology solution providers. Personally driven by two things: creating experiences that people remember, and building a team that genuinely enjoys bringing those experiences to life.
